All other meals are the responsibility of the attendee. Snacks and meals are for registered attendees ONLY. Additional dinner guests must be registered prior to the conference for a $125 fee.

This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint providership of the American Academy of Emergency Medicine (AAEM) and the Coalition for Physician Well-Being. Scholarship Information

As a recipient of the GME Resident Scholarship, the following expenses have been funded and reserved on your behalf:

Paid registration to the 2025 Joy & Wholeness Summit
Hotel lodging at the Crowne Plaza Resort Asheville (check-in Wednesday, July 23; check out Friday, July 25)
Meals provided at the conference (Wednesday night banquet dinner, Thursday breakfast and lunch, Friday breakfast)
A maximum of 13 AMA PRA Category I credits toward your Continuing Medical Education (CME)

Your registration and hotel rooms have been secured and your room assignment will be given at check-in. As per standard hotel policy, you will need to provide a card on file for any incidentals you may incur during your stay. We strongly recommend using a credit card for this hold, which will be the cost of your two-night stay, plus a nightly fee for incidentals. The hold will be removed from your account following the conference in a few business days.

To attend the Wednesday night banquet, you will need to wear your badge to the banquet location. Attendance at this event is required. If you are bringing a guest with you to the banquet dinner, they will receive a wristband to attend at the entrance to the banquet location. If you did not register your guest but would like to bring one, please email info@forphysician.org to do so. A fee of $125 is required to bring a plus one.

At the Wednesday night banquet, our Social Media Specialist will connect with each of you to take some photos for the scholarship program. This will include a headshot for each recipient, a few group shots, as well as some photos with our Coalition Board. We will reserve a table at the welcome dinner for each of you to sit at with some of the members of the Coalition's Board of Directors.

Aside from conference activities, you will be responsible for your own transportation to and from the venue, as well as around the Asheville area (should you wish to explore the city). Keep in mind that certain roads may still be closed due damage from Hurricane Helene.

Poster Information

Poster Format:

The poster should measure 48" W x 36" H.
Adhesive will be available to display the posters on the provided boards. Easels will be set up and will be on a first come, first served basis.

Display:

Poster setup on Wednesday, July 23rd, 9:00AM to 12PM in the Expo Center.
Posters will be displayed throughout the conference. Please ensure that poster presenters are at their posters during the following times:
- Wednesday, July 23: Dinner & Networking, 5:30PM to 8:30PM (not required to stand at poster, but great networking opportunity)
- Thursday, July 24: 10:35 - 11:00AM, 12:30-1 PM & 3:30-4:15PM
- Friday, July 25th @ 10:05 - 10:35AM
  - Presenters are welcome to remove their poster after the event at 1:00 pm, Friday, July 25th. We won't be responsible for any posters left behind.

This morning is designed just for you; a gentle space to reflect, reset, and reconnect with what matters most before the full Summit begins. Here’s what you need to know to start your journey feeling centered and refreshed:

Whether you’re a seasoned runner or a casual walker, we welcome all paces and all styles. We’ll begin with a short warm-up and mindful moment together, then you’ll continue at your own pace. This is about movement, not mileage. Breathe in the mountain air, stretch your legs, and give yourself space to fully arrive.

After the walk or run, breakfast will be on your own. Take time to nourish yourself and settle into the day. There are options at the resort and nearby. However you choose to spend that time, we hope it feels calm and restorative.
