Things to know

The purpose of the Dr. Dianne McCallister Memorial Scholarship Program is to increase accessibility for current physician, PA, NP residents and fellows to attend the Joy & Wholeness Summit, the Coalition’s national annual conference. This scholarship is a tribute to Dr. McCallister's vision of fostering a nurturing, supportive, and balanced healthcare community. By enabling residents to participate in this vital conference, we hope to instill in them the values Dianne championed—compassion, collaboration, and a commitment to self-care, ensuring they carry forward this legacy in their careers.

Eligibility for the scholarship will be based on demonstrated interest and involvement in projects or activities that align with physician and APP well-being and mental health. We invite residency programs across the country to nominate candidates who exemplify these ideals and who are committed to advancing well-being within the medical profession.

It is our hope that the Dr. Dianne McCallister Memorial Resident Scholarship will open doors for many aspiring physicians and APPs who might not otherwise have the opportunity to attend.

The 2026 Scholarship Award helps to fund the following expenses:

  1. Paid registration to the Coalition for Physician & APP Well-Being 2026 Joy & Wholeness Summit ($1,095 value)

  2. Hotel lodging at the Peabody Memphis Hotel for two nights (approx. $500 value)

  3. Includes conference meals (2 breakfasts, 1 lunch, 1 dinner, plus snacks provided during breaks)

  4. CME eligible – includes AMA PRA Category 1 credits
