The Medicus Integra Award (MIA) Program Evaluation is a qualitative study exploring the impact of the Medicus Integra Award, which recognizes healthcare organizations committed to promoting physician wellbeing and addressing burnout. Conducted by Dr. Barbara Couden Hernandez, Professor and Director of the Office of Physician Vitality at Loma Linda University School of Medicine; Dr. Naomi J. Schwenke, CEO of Mosaic Therapy Group; and Dr. Ted Hamilton, Senior Advisor for Physician Wellbeing at Advent Health, this evaluation gathered insights from eight healthcare institutions that underwent the MIA assessment.

The study highlights participants' experiences with the assessment process, the preparation involved, and the positive changes made within their organizations as a result. The MIA has been instrumental in helping healthcare organizations improve their support systems, fostering a more positive and productive work environment for medical staff.
