2026 Poster Submissions

Call for Abstract Proposals

The Coalition for Physician & APP Well-Being invites submissions of innovative, replicable, and verified metrics of research or program development in the arena of physician and advanced practice provider (APP) wellness and burnout. 

 

Who Can Participate?

Physicians, APPs, hospital leaders/administrators, and staff who have developed a program or participated in research in wellness and/or burnout. Residents and Fellows are encouraged to submit as well.

Abstracts previously submitted or presented at other organizations may be submitted for consideration. 

Criteria for Submission

Please follow the guidelines below to submit a proposal for the Research Poster Session.


Abstracts must be uploaded as a PDF document via the Poster Presenter Portal. The deadline for submissions is 11:59 PM EST on Friday, April 3, 2026.

Please provide a reliable address, as this will be our method of contacting you about your presentation.

Abstract Submission

  1. Use 12-point Times New Roman (or similar) font. 

  2. Limit text to 500 words (excluding title and authors). 

  3. Include institution, city, and state where research was performed. 

  4. Single-space the entire abstract. 

  5. Align the left-hand margin of the abstract text. 

  6. Use standard abbreviations; define unusual abbreviations at first use. 

  7. A blind copy of abstract should also be submitted. This copy will omit author names, institution, city, state or any other identifier where research was performed. Omit degrees, titles, institutional appointments, street addresses, and ZIP codes. Single space entire abstract. The left-hand margin of the abstract’s text should be perfectly aligned.

Max file upload: 3 files. If you wish to upload more than one abstract, please submit a separate application for each.

Display & Presentation Guidelines

If your presentation is selected for the Poster Exhibition, please make note of the following:

  • Authors of accepted entries must create an art file in PDF format sized 48” wide x 36” high

  • Authors are responsible for printing and shipping their posters. 

  • Poster easels with core board backing will be provided at the conference. 

  • Posters will be displayed using adhesive on each corner. 

  • Authors may present their research during scheduled breaks/networking sessions. 

  • Presenters are responsible for removing their posters after the conference. 

  • The Coalition is not responsible for shipping posters left behind.

Notification, Policies, and Attestation

  • All authors will abide by all deadlines set forth by the Coalition. 

  • The Coalition does not endorse any products or services provided by outside vendors. Therefore, promotions or advertisements of any kind are not allowed in educational sessions and abstracts. Submission of session or abstract proposals from commercial exhibitors or sponsors promoting their products or services is prohibited. 

  • No changes are allowed to be made to the accepted abstract after the revision deadline If a presenter needs to be replaced after confirmation of acceptance due to emergent circumstances, the Coalition must be notified in writing via email (coalition@bethejoy.org) and presenters must receive the Coalition’s approval prior to making any changes. 

  • The author representing and presenting the accepted poster must register for the conference and pay in full by July 3, 2026. Abstract proposals should not be submitted if the presenter’s attendance at the Annual Educational Conference is questionable. Posters without at least one registered presenter will not be displayed at the conference.

Please consider the costs of participation prior to submitting your abstract for review. 


The Coalition has a "Make Your Case" letter if needed to plead your case for attendance to the event. Please visit bethejoy.org/summit to print a template for your records.
